Succes stories of Employed Individuals with Intelectual Disabilitis

Below you will find information about a few of our graduates. Sylwia and Paweł are graduates of our institution. After graduating, they obtained employment at Bistro z Ikrą, which is a Social Cooperative operating for 7 years in Rybnik. This company changes the lives of its employees - for many of them, working here is the only chance for independence and a true, full-fledged life.

Another graduate is Mateusz, who works as a cook. He is employed by the Vocational Activity Facility (ZAZ) in Żory. Participants in our project had the opportunity to visit this place and learn about its mission. This facility specializes in employing people with disabilities.

Adrian is a graduate of the 1st degree Vocational School in 2022, a bricklayer-plasterer, employed at the Wimar construction company. His tasks include all types of bricklaying, plastering and finishing works. Adrian gained professional experience during a 3-year internship at this company. After passing the journeyman exam, he was offered a permanent job.

Graduates of School Complex No. 6 in Rybnik, a facility specializing in educating young people with a decision on the need for special education, have a variety of paths of professional and personal development ahead of them. The school offers adapted forms of education that prepare students for independence and active participation in social and professional life. Thanks to the work of our teachers, they have a chance for a decent start in adult life.
